Murda New York Concert reviews
Disappointed...
I have experienced the biggest disappointment in over 15 years of seeing them, I'd have to say. The enthusiasm and timeless hits are what keeps bringing me back to Murda, dating back to 1998. The final song finished at 11:18, and they started at 10:00, lasting for 78 minutes. Some of the biggest hits from 'Self-Titled' were scaled down into acoustic versions, and several songs on the setlist were abbreviated versions. While I enjoy the 2-3 song acoustic set in the middle with Slow Motion, Driveby, etc, I enjoy the 'jam' of the other songs that you just don't get with the scaled-down acoustic version. I have seen Murda a dozen times, and this Harrah's show was a disappointment. No Brad drum solo either. The show left much to be desired, even though the venue was cool as Stephen stated, it felt like we were at a 'basement party'.
